Customer Service Specialist, Nonprofit Services

To continue growing our business, Network for Good is seeking an energetic and hard-working Customer Service Specialist to be part of a dynamic team of individuals dedicated to helping nonprofits raise funds and communicate with donors online. This individual will be responsible for responding daily to customer inquiries (via email and phone) on how to best use our services for online fundraising. The Customer Support Specialist will be trained on all of our services and take the lead in assisting customers with partner sites and our Basic Donate Now service which allows organizations to process donations from their website. This person will work with our marketing and support staff to respond to nonprofit and donor inquiries, help develop support material, and assist with special service-related projects. This position reports to our Operations Manager.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide superior customer support via email and telephone to nonprofit customers and donors
  • Help create and upload template responses and FAQs
  • Help troubleshoot and report technical issues
  • Gather marketing intelligence related to customers and work with staff to improve training material and help guides
  • Participate in customer support weekly calls
  • Serve as the subject-matter specialist for inquiries related to marketing campaigns, Basic DonateNow and partner sites
  • Assist with special projects that relate to customer service operations. Examples include: Assisting with payment exceptions, processing stale or returned checks and related operational needs
  • Perform user acceptance testing on new development

Qualifications:

  • Minimum one-year experience in customer or client service
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • Working knowledge of Windows based applications, including Microsoft Office products
  • Working knowledge of the Internet and web-based applications
  • Understanding of the fundraising and donor management process useful
  • Knowledge of nonprofit or philanthropic sectors desirable
  • Ability to achieve and maintain a high level of customer service and prompt resolution of issues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong administrative skills and the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Individual should be self-motivated and have good attention for detail, completing assigned tasks efficiently with minimal supervision

Senior .NET Developer

To continue growing our business and our technology, Network for Good is seeking a smart, savvy, senior .NET developer to become a core part of our development team. This is an opportunity to revolutionize charity by changing the face of giving.

Responsibilities:
The Sr. Developer will be involved in the full SDLC, from the definition of product requirements to the design, development, QA and software release management. The ideal candidate for this position will, in addition to strong technical qualifications, have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. The candidate should be energetic, hardworking, and have the initiative and flexibility to fill multiple functions within the development organization.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • 7-10 years of hands-on, project-based experience in web development and deployment
  • 3+ years experience with Microsoft .Net
  • 3+ years experience with ASP.NET 2.0 or VB.NET (C# programming language) & .NET Framework
  • 3+ years experience with web services (html, CSS, JavaScript, other web languages)
  • 3+ years experience with SQL Server, TSQL, coding of stored procedures
  • Database development, design and programming skills in a SQL Server 2000/2005 environment
  • MS IIS configuration/administration
  • Microsoft VS Team Studio
  • Experience with nHibernate or other object relational mapping (ORM) solutions desired.
  • Experience with Agile / RAD / iterative software development strongly desired.
  • Experience successfully developing complex systems and applications; scalable multi-threaded applications and implementing and managing Windows Services
  • Web Services/SOA design & development
  • Experience with development tools such as NUnit, NCover and CruiseControl are a plus.
  • Networking experience is a plus.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required; Engineering or Computer Science degree a plus.

Sales Associate

Network for Good is an energetic, young online software company founded by AOL, Yahoo! and Cisco that aims to be known by every nonprofit in the United States (a.k.a. a $300 billion software market). And we're well on our way, with 30,000 nonprofits raising over $180 million online with Network for Good’s SaaS (software as a service) fundraising tools. Hundreds more nonprofits join us every month, which is why if you are a sales superstar in the making looking for a job with unlimited financial upside and mobility, we'd love to chat.

We're out to find a smart, energetic person with 1-5 years experience to respond to sales inquiries as they come in, lead over-the-phone demos for prospective customers and manage the sales cycle from prospecting to close. As for skills, we're keen on finding someone who is well-rounded, enthusiastic, great with people and comfortable spending lots of time on the phone and in email. This person should be able to work independently, make short work of details and take on an unusually high level of responsibility at a fast-growing company. Experience using Salesforce.com is helpful but not required. A competitive base salary and very attractive commission model puts your first year earnings potential in the high five figures.

Beyond a passion for sales and the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, candidates should possess:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
  • Software sales and nonprofit sector experience a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Seeking an energetic, highly ambitious individual who is organized and has a good understanding of online software services (ASP).
  • Very comfortable making phone calls.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently..

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Experience selling or supporting ASP solutions required. Nonprofit sector experience a plus.
  • Knowledge of the Internet and software application services, particularly e-commerce applications, preferably ASP software model.
